Karankawa's Challenge -
the return of Camporee! Look forward to great adventure, great fun ,
and great rewards!
At Saturday night’s
campfire, the grand prize winning patrol will be honored, as well as the 1st,
2nd, and 3rd place patrols and the 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd place new patrols.
- Minimum patrol size - 4
- Maximum patrol size - 10
- Lunch will be provided on Saturday of the Challenge.
- Winning patrols will be announced at the camp fire Saturday night.
- Awards and prizes will be handed out at that time.
- Fees: $15 per person
Camp Rules
Campsite inspections will
be done during the day on Saturday. Top three Troops will be
properly honored at the Camp Fire Ceremony. This will be the only
event scored for the entire Troop. Troops will be scored on orderly
camp layout, cleanliness, and, of course, all fire and other safety
issues. Points will be awarded for camp gadgets, exceptional
gateways, bulletin boards with complete duty rosters and fire plans and
creative U.S. and Troop flag displays.
